I agree. Had a Homak for about 15-17 years; Stack-On/Sentinel feel like made of foil in comparison. Homak is heavy, good gauge (for a cabinet/locker, anyway) steel. Definitely a class higher than Stack-On lockers.

As far as I know, all types (safe, cabinet, locker, etc.) have their own purpose. A locker is better than nothing. Many advise against keeping ammo in fireproof/sealed safes; here [ventilated, unintentionally] cabinets would do fine.

By the way, where could one get metal shelving to put inside a cabinet, similar to what Stack-Ons come with? Stack-On do not offer shelf kits for sale...
