Default I need help please

I received an FAL in a trade a while back and when I finally got to take it out to the range it didn't perform quite like I'd hopped it would. The first shot was great but after that the trigger wouldn't reset for the next shot. If you chamber check the charging handle about an inch back you can hear it reset at that time and then fire the rifle one more time before you must chamber check it again. The usual internet search suggests that there are two springs in the trigger assembly that are probably reversed and it should fix the problem....

my problems are 1. I can't find any step by step guides to disassemble the lower & 2. Does anybody on here agree with the idea that the problem is the springs?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

I've watched the video and I'm not wanting FA or anything else that's gonna make the authorities come to my door. I just want a semi auto rifle that performs the way it did when it was new. I'm even ok with replacing it with an aftermarket trigger if that's the only way to fix it I just don't have the extra cash to drop it off at my gunsmith so he can look at it for $60 an hour. I was hoping that it was something I could do myself since the whole rifle looks like it can be taken apart with a leatherman.
