Yep. Carry my XD with me at home not to mention other guns loaded and ready at a moments notice around the house and garage.

I just bought a 1911 for a defensive handgun... I still use my 22lr derringer as my carry piece.
To address the OP; Within my reach at the moment, there are 7 deadly weapons, one is a 357mag. If I move a few feet in any direction I can get to 30 more.

I live in Illinios. At home and on my property is the only place I can carry. I carry my Sig P238 when home. It's practice for when I can really carry.....which I hope will happen some day in Illinois. I live in a very safe town and in a very sleepy, old and settled neighborhood. I never feel in danger but one just never knows.........

Mr wray, what mag is that?
Anyhow, up until last sunday, the only time I could carry was in my home. Now that I'm free, it is too much hassle to remove it so even if I don't plan to go anywhere, it stays on, from getting dressed to going to bed.

I keep my sp101 on me at all times. All other guns are loaded and accessible if needed.

My personal choice, I never leave a loaded gun even two feet from my. It's either on me or in the safe.
