dang good pistol. decently accurate, managable recoil, excellent reputation for being reliable. if it fits your hand well and you can shoot it accurately, then it will serve your needs well. you could do much worse.

i have the XDm40 and really like it. just because of the reasons above.

Great gun! A lil hard to hide though...I am a smaller dude but it looks like I have a brick on my hip

i m a bigger guy and im thinking im gonna have a hard time concealing some that size i was thing of getting 3.5 and getting it in 9 mm but yet the 4 inch 45 is better accuracy and more stopping power

i would recomend the xdm 3.5 compact in 45acp. thats my typical carry gun. its got a short grip for use with the short 10 round mags and can still use the bigger 13 rounders.

accuracy is the same as the 4.5 until you hit 25 yards but your not going to be getting into long rang shootouts and even if that does happen the diff tween my 4.5 fullsize xdm and 3.5 is only half an inch in group size. way more than good enough for center mass hits.
