When I'm not driving I like to carry my Tarus .44 spec. in the 6 o'clock position. All that's needed is a light jacket or untucked shirt. On the road I carry a .38 Chief Special in crossdraw position. Both wheel guns with only 5 shots each but it works for me. By the way I also own a Ruger P95 and Glock 19 Gen2, both in 9mm.
I'm comfortable with a revolver for self defense and concealed carry. I'm even comfortable with .38 Special as a powerful enough load. But, if capacity is the biggest drawback to the revolver vs. the auto, would anyone in this debate consider the 30 round Kel Tec PMR-30 22Mag?
i always carry a revolver simply because i kno it wont jam.with the capacity issuse taurus makes a nice 8 shot 22 mag revolver the model 941 which is fairly inexpensive and with the new 22 mag that has come out recently you have the stopping power of a 32 or 380. i personally perfer my 5 shot .38
