At around 8:15(well after dinner for us usually) we were relaxing in the master because her back is so bad that she is only comfortable sitting up in bed while reading, we didn't even have the TV on(which is weird for us) and someone rang our front doorbell. Wasn't sure who it was and the person said "i'm lost I must have the wrong house" but I won't open the door for anyone I don't know anyway(sorry, just my EX NY-Ness,..) So I said "I Don't know you and we are not expecting company. Please Get off My Property or else i'm calling the P.D...."
You may have saved yourself a big ration of grief. Good going.

Default Where to Keep my Home Protection Pistol.

Thanks Ai? Hopefully now we will get some help from the local PD with a Community Watch program. The last time I actually SHOT at( and Hit) someone was in Desert Storm.....and have no plants to unless I'm forced to by circumstances out of my control...

Free2Be? Why a Double 12 and not a Pump or Semi-Auto?

I want a Judge in 6.5" with a 3" chamber!! A .410 hole in a BGs chest cavity will still put em outta the fight....

my brother bought the Judge a few years ago. i was slightly impressed with what it could do at short distances, even with just a 410 shell. i would not want to be on the recieving end of it at very close range. it would definately remove some of the fight out of the BG!

here is the one he bought.

If you ever have someone trying to break in just take that shotgun and fire both barrels out you're front door. Don't worry, uncle Joe said it was OK.

On second thought, DON'T do that

I never had a problem with my kids trying to play with guns. I told them the heater was hot. The kids didn't listen and they got burned. After the experience with the heater all I had to do was say something was hot and the kids would give it a wide berth.

Don't take me wrong, I didn't leave guns where kids could get them.

that shotgun has a sawed off pistol gripped stock and i may be wrong, but those barrels don't look to be at least 18" and i don't think it's at least 26" OAL either. like i said, i may be wrong and for his sake i hope i am.
