This is so true i remember when i first started carrying they had just come out with the XDSC9 i chose and there were very few holster options other than afew holsters designed to carry absolutely anything it was 2 more years before i could find a really good holster for less than $100 but like any popular firearm now its easy to find good holsters

Default Sadly

Sad to say my back and shouders are so bad these days that I had to switch out carrying my Colt Commander .45 long ago. When I first became "AZ Legal" last year I carried my old smith 39/439 customed by ASP and given to me as a 20th B-day present from Dad. Now I carry the Ruger LC9(my review was just posted! Thx Notdku!) either in a Blackhawk#3 pocket holster in my "Man-Bag" or IWB at 3:00/3:30 with a DeSantis Insider. The back up's are an NAA Mini revolver(3") in .22LR/.22Mag, or when i'm wearing less clothes, a Ruger LCR in 22 Mag and two Blades, a Gerber Mk1 5" at 8:00 and a Gerber Lockback with a belt clip on the right pants pocket..
DW carries a Ruger LCR 38+P in a DeSantis Purse holster which transfers to the console of our truck(saftey space console safe) and her back up is an american arms .32 derringer...but we're getting rid of that in favor of a semi-auto .32.
Just got a Mossberg SA-20 Tactical (20 Ga) w/collapsable stock & pistol grip, and a Browning Buckmark .22 carbine(since DW got so good with the Buckmark Pistol!) for the secure space in the back of the truck...

I carry a Sig p938 at 3 o'clock on my strong side in a hybrid crossbreed mini tuck. Lightning fast draw Time with great retention. No complaints with this rig other than only having 6+1, i guess i need to invest in a spare mag and mag carrier. But that will have to wait til after i get my 54r spam can

Most days I carry a G19 IWB at the 3 or 4 o'clock position with a Supertuck. Sometimes I'll switch it up with a G17 or 26.

If I'm going for a run my LCP goes in a belly band.

When a cover shirt is an option I prefer carrying OWB in a SERPA or Bianchi Special Agent 59 paddle; usually it's my G-17, a 1911 or my Sig 229.

Sometimes I just put it in the front pocket of my hoodie. My SIG 238 or S&W Bodyguard 380 in my front right pocket when I wear shorts. My wife carries her Kimber Pro Carry II M1911A1 in an El Paso Saddlery OWB and the P238 in a Flashbang bra holster. SURPRISE!!!!!

I'm a fan of El Paso Saddlery simply because I've never had any issue with any of their equipment; gun or magazine holsters.

I'm also sold on the King Tuks! Carrying full size 1911 IWB in a polo shirt works for me!!!
I've got a full size 1911 and ordered the king tuk, I couldn't ever find a cant/location that really concealed it... I always printed the grip up high or the muzzle if it was deep conceal... Any tips/tricks to help?

I carry while hunting. In the winter, I carry a Blackhawk drop leg holster. In the summer, I will use an OWB Blackhawk Serpa at four o'clock. I also use the Serpa when I have to stop somewhere to or from the hunting revier. I carry a full size USP. 40. or Sig Sauer P226r.

My CZ 75BD in a Uncle Mikes OWB nylon holster, right at 4 o'clock. Goes with me almost everywhere I go.
We must always fear evil men, but there is another kind of evil that we must fear the most... And that is the indifference of good men!
