I wonder how it would go if we all started asking the places of business to provide a secure shelf for our firearms.

OK, it's a little old, but I didn't want to start a new thread on the subject.

When I sit down in the restroom , I rebutton my pants around my knees. That keeps my gun in its holster, up off the floor, and out of the view/reach of anyone outside the stall.

I'm also looking into using a belly band. (See also: http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f14/found-my-perfect-carry-method-77300/) That may make all activities in a restroom more secure.
