You guys watch too many Dirty Harry movies. I contend that the Ruger LCR in .22 Mag or a .32 acp are excellent for CC.

No, no, no! It's not possible to watch too many Dirty Harry movies!
They "make my day".
Well, maybe after 3 or 4 in the same day...

Look into the M&P Shield in 40 S&W. Thin profile and lots of great reviews regarding concealment.

No worries. But when the CaCa hits the fan and you have 8 shots in that 32, you better be hoping someone else has a Double Stack magazine Gun,. Again,..if your a great shot and you "Can shoot someone's Eye Out," good for you. I'm not taking that chance. My 32 will be my SECOND Gun..,..and I'll be "Playing Taps" on nutjob's Skull with some Hornady Critical Defense Ammo...Because Uncle Sam invested quit a bit in my Training,.....
And BTW,...the best acting Eastwood ever did wasn't even his role as Det. Callahan. He was much better as a Ranger LT. Alongside Richard Burton in "Where Eagles Dare," as the Secret Service Agent in "in the Line of Fire" and the role he gets so little credit for, because he also Directed the movie, Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Highway in "HeartBreak Ridge," and Ofcourse, in Kelly's Heroes as Kelly...

I am pretty accurate with my .32 and it holds 10+1
He was good in Heartbreak Ridge.
Callahan could have done just as well with a good 9mm or .40 S&W
A bullet goes through people much easier than an engine block.

Yep. And in the Dirty Harry movies, he admitted that he loaded his Model 29 with "light specials".

Any comments on the Alien Gear holster? Thinking about buying one for P250 subcompact 40 cal. and didn't know if I should expect anything different than what the website shows.

I've wore mine quite a few times carrying my Glock 26 even tho it still has the shell for a XDs. Fit and finish is good enough for the price point, should hold up for yrs. Once you find the right spot on your waistline its very comfortable and hide well. I doubt you could find a holster under $50 that comes close.
