I carry a Sig 229 rigged for 357 under the arm when wearing a jacket and on the belt with just a shirt. Kel-Tec P11 on my ankle and a carbine in the trunk at all times. The wife carries a Taurus 908 9mm in the back of her pants when in jeans and in her purse when in a dress. Daughter, a S&W 38

I just got my ccw permit in the mail last week, i'll be heading to the crossroad gunshow this weekend hopefully I can find something. I need a few opinions, I was gonna go with the glock 23 gen 4. But now after shooting my friends xdm .45 I want something in that calaber, as well a compact size. He's a pretty big guy so concealing that xdm works for him.

You would be suprised how easily larger guns can be concealed. I'm about 6'2" and 180 lbs, I conceal a 4" 1911 no problem with nothing but an iwb holster and a t shirt.

With a good holster and the right type clothes, you can make any pistol disappear. When I'm carrying, you would never know.

I think a good idea when selecting a gun is to get one that fits your hand. If your pinky finger is left hanging, I think it's too small.

I just signed up for my chl class here in Texas. I have a stoeger cougar 9mm but not sure if its the one i want to conceal. I guess trial and error are the best ways to test it out.
