Right now I carry a 5" 1911 but am switching to the Sig P226.
My 1911 has a TLR 1 on it and I carry it IWB. I will do the same with the 226, and it too will have the TLR 1 on it.

I carry a XDM-40 in a IWB Blade-Tech holster most of the time. Very rarely I'll switch it up and carry my XD-40, I've temp loaned that to my fiancée till we get her her own XD-40SC.

I actually have a couple of handguns that I rotate through. I Sig Sauer P 220 in .45 ACP, a P 226 in 9mm, and a Taurus TCP in .380. My preferred carry weapon is the P 220, however the full frame handgun is not always the easiest to conceal in the heat and humidity of a Missouri summer. When working or for dressy occasions, I usually carry the Taurus. After much trial and error I found that the Galco King Tuk holster works great for both the Sigs, and when I want to carry them. The single biggest drawback is the weight, which the Galco holster does a good job of distributing.

I have two that I typically carry concealed, 75% of the time it's my S&W Bodyguard .380 in a DeSantis Superfly pocket holster, any other time it's a Glock 27 with a IWB holster.
