If you are new to the the gun culture, here's a bit of wisdom that will keep you out of a lot of needless arguments, and will keep you exposed to a great deal of fantastic firearms. No single manufacturer has a corner on best anything.

There are a lot of manufacturers out there to avoid, but if you are talking about Glock, Sig, Colt, Smith & Wesson, Kahr, Springfield, Ruger, H&K, etc. all of them make some very good guns that will serve you very well.

The bottom line is what works for you is not the best for everyone else.

And about the only rule that we can all agree upon is everyone needs a 22.
