I am in the your weight class also. I use a IWB holster with a Taurus PT111 9mm in the back of my pants. It does fit well and hardly even know it is there. I use a cheepo Ace Case holster. Otherwise its either a SA XD9 in a leather Desantis paddle or a SA 1911 in an Uncle Mikes kydex case.

I know I'm in the minority, but I love a cheap holster! I've had rigs ranging from $20 to $150, and the cheap-o units have always done me good. Lol

I have three guns I carry depending on the season, and temperatute. If it is summer and hot, I carry a Smith & Wesson J 38 .38 snubbie in a Don Hume pocket holster.

In the winter (I am in Florida, so it is mentioned with a grain of salt) I have a Ruger SR8c and a M&P Shield, 9 mm. They are much easier to carry in an inside the waistband holter.

Today it was 76 deg F and I was out with the Shield.
