I carry a Keltec PF9. It gets rusty, dirty, dusty and still shoots. I clean it once a week and remove any rust. You can spend lots more on a pistol that's "pretty", but make sure it can take a lickin and keep on tickin. If you carry on a daily basis, 16hrs a day, it won't look like the same gun you bought in less than a year. I have had at least 6 different holsters for it, and so far have not found the ideal one for every situation. I kept em all and switch depending on situation. Texas gets hot, and I get sweaty, and with that comes salt and rust. Happens faster than you could imagine! I carry on my belt under a tee shirt, currently with a Don Hume high ride Belt holster.

Switches from a g30 and kh45c both with a secondary lcp 380 in the back pocket always. Did just get a nice kydex holster from think fast holsters for the g19. Sweet and comfortable holster so maybe the nine more..

I almost always carry my Kimber Ultra Crimson Trace .45! On rare occasions I'll carry my Glock 23!

I bought a exchange kit for my P250. As soon as it comes in the mail my 9mm will become a .45

As for me, I either carry my Beretta Px4 .40 or my Taurus PT-1911 .45.

It just depends on my mood.

You can carry whatever you want. I promise you that if you shoot someone, you will lose your gun for a long time. Maybe forever. (evidence). If you carry a $700 dollar gun it will hurt. If you are carrying two guns..both go bye bye. My point is...just be aware. Unless it is clear that you are are the defender, it can get complicated. I'm not a lawyer or police officer, but I have asked the question to them, and hear about the same answer.
