I can understand your logic. I personally don't like to go smaller than the 9mm for carry. I also don't mind carrying a full size 1911, but that's just me . One thing I really do like about the 9mm is that it's relatively cheap and more available where I live, plus there are a wider array of firearms chambered for the 9mm.

I dont think i will ever carry anything smaller than a 9mm for personal protection. The amount of tiny 9's out there nowadays makes it super easy to have a better caliber. I have a kahr cw9 i use in summer and it is super light weight iand easy to conceal. I just feel better having the 9mm with a personal defense round and i am wayyyy more accurate with my cw9 than any 380 i have shot. Just my 2 cents happy hunting

I understand your logic completely Warhawk 77. Look into the Ruger Lcp. It's msrp is around $360. As a matter of fact, my uncle (a retired Miami police officer) now carries one as his cc weapon, and be loves it. 6 shots, 9.4 ounces, 2.75" barrel... It'll get the job done.

Another .380 you might look at is the Bersa Thunder. It's similar to a Walther PPK. My dad recently bought one new for around $300 We have both shot it and had no problems. I was surprised at how accurate and controllable it was to shoot.
And it's small enough that he pocket carries pretty much every time he leaves the house

Agreed. I have the Kahr PM9 that I carry in my pocket as a back up to my Ruger SR9c. I even carry it in the fall and winter when I carry my Springfield 1911A1.
