I quit carryin a .454 because my forehead was all black-n'-blue from the muzzle flippin' up and smackin' me in the head every time I shot it.
Just joking, but the muzzle flip delays a second shot a little longer than I'd want if a bear is charging me.

the same one you ccw any other place and time. if your gun is too heavy or bulky to hike with, it's not practical at all. Look at Diamondback's 11 oz 9mm.
