My first pistol specifically purchased for carry was a Glock 22, when I worked at a gun shop.

When I moved to Virginia I purchased a Colt Commander for carry.

The first pistol I bought specifically for CONCEALED CARRY was a Smith & Wesson M&P9C which was a great pistol...I actually regret selling it.

For the last year I've carried either the Commander or a Glock 19. Two weeks ago I switched to a Ruger SP101 .357 and I think that's where I'll stay for a while. I've really fallen in love with my new wheelgun!

Josh

As we are not allowed to conceal carry here in Wisconsin, my first actual firearm was a Mod 94 30-30 that my dad bought for me when I turned 12. I carried it around the woods for years and missed many whitetails with it. Great gun.

If CCW passes here in Wisconsin next year I'm celebrating by buying a Ruger LCR and a 4 inch SAI Loaded.

First one was a Taurus PT111 traded that for a Glock 19. Recently moved up, caliber-wise, the the Glock 36. Ah, evolution!

My first carry gun, and still is, my M&P 40. My alternate carry gun is a 442. It all depends on how I'm dressing.

Beretta 92 Centurion, in 1994.

Later traded for a Glock 17, that was later traded for a Sig P220, that was later traded for a Glock 21 (I got some $ too), and you know how the story goes on and on until I learned (or became financially stable enough) to keep my guns.

If only I had all the guns I've owned over the years <sighs>

My first true carry gun was a Taurus 431 in .44 spl, but it was retired to the safe and now I carry a Kimber stainless ultra carry II 3" .45ACP. The little Kimber lives with me day and night.
