The main thing to do is just BE CAREFUL. If you don't, you may end up in "serious but stable" condition, or "critical condition".

Grip safety is clutch, but if I remember it right, it was not Browning's idea. I think it was added during the trial revisions by the US Gov.

It's best not to carry "cocked and unlocked". A careless draw might leave you carrying in "critical condition", or "serious but stable condition".
