The moral of the story here folks is, dont use a .22 unless you absolutely have nothing else. Use a bigger caliber..... MrWray back 10-8

If you can comfortably carry something bigger and can easily operate the weapon..go for it. I was just saying, I do have a 9mm and can carry it at times. I have arthritis in my hands just like lots of seniors do. My middle is bigger than I really want..my pants never actually ride UP....on some days I have a hard time racking the slide. I want more than 5 rounds in a revolver and trying to reload could be fatal. This will be my last post for .22 as a ccw weapon. I know what works for me. I have never killed anyone..at least on this side of the pond. Dont want to save the entire neighborhood..only my family..I can actually carry and use it, have other options for carry and can actually hit what I am aiming at. You carry your .45, 10mm, 50, 65 or whatever makes you happy. Time will tell if you carry or just talk about it.
we can agree to disagree. I wish you the best with whatever you choose to carry.
