Even easier in New Hampshire, went to local PD filled out a 1 page form with 3 references (that they don't contact) 2 weeks later I show up with a check for $10 and I have my pistol/revolver license that is NH concealed carry permit.

I'm in Indiana and just got fingerprinted and mailed off my application this morning. No classes required, $125 for a lifetime permit and I should have it in 6 weeks. It's a carry permit too. Does not define open or concealed.

In Philadelphia it was a 20.00 fee, two forms of picture Id, two forms or proof of residency, two references applications that they had to fill out, a 2x2 inch photograph supplied by me, finger printed, and and interview with a police officer. 45 days later I went and picked up my LTCF good for 5 years.

In Emporia Kansas it was an 8 hour class $75.00
Prints & back ground check @ Sheriffs station $35.00. They send all paper work to the Attorney Generals Office $100.00 than he has 45 days when he receives the paper work to make his decision. But for some reason it took 123 days when I mailed mine off to when I received my CCL. Than have to take the letter to the DMV and pay $8.00 for the CCL. In the end it's Priceless

No not even close. It's 80 miles from KC Kansas and 100 miles from Nebraska. 75 miles north east of Wichita Kansas.

I photo copied my hunter's education certificate and mailed it in along with the filled out application and 50 dollars. There wasn't a waiting period and no fingerprinting, it just took 4 or 5 weeks to process but that was right at the start when cc was passed so they were backlogged, I have heard its faster now.
