Top rated ankle holster?

I'm thinking about getting an ankle holster for my M&P compact .40 and was wanting some suggestions if anybody has any as an extra holster besides my hip holster I wanna get.

I don't think no matter how good an ankle holster will be you will like haveing a pistol that size and weight on your anle. If you can't run with it too you need to carry some where else.

I think I have bought at least 2 dozen ankle holsters and I still have not found one I like very well - - - If I have to give chase I need to be able to run FAST and they won't stand that.

I also have concerns - - if you are behind the wheel with your seatbelt on I need to have quick access. I wear a Belly band up high under my left armpit and it is go to go!

Well thanks for the input. Yeah size wise guns gonna be big for ankle just didn't know if there was a good ankle holster out there that was made for mid size.

Have you seen the ankle holster options for the desert eagle .50?

Wow um nope I wouldn't wanna carry that on my ankle

I wear a Desantis Apache and it works well. There isn't any rocking motion and it comes with an adjustable thumb break or strap so you dont have to worry about the gun coming out if you have to run.

I carry my Taurus 856 .38 with it and it feels fine. The weight is a non issue after a couple of days wearing it.

I use a Galco ankle holster with my Colt Cobra. No problems with movement. Wearing western style boots helps. It is a backup rather than primary carry. I've practiced drawing. Not fast, but it is available. The holster is comfortable even for all day wear.
