I have both the tomcat (.32) and the bobcat (.22) - one warning about the older tomcat pistol is that the frame and the slide both broke on my pistol. When Beretta replace the pistol, the slide was about 1.5 times thicker (heavier) and the frame appeared to be bolstered also.

Aside from that, they are both sweet little pistols. Shoot where you aim them, relatively little reaction, and for a "close-in" weapon, function well.

I carry a 9mm concealed on my belt, and one of these in a pocket.

I used to carry one until I got my LCP.

I did when it was would have been concederd a light weight pistol 26 years ago but today it nether light nor cost affective. Buy a modern ultra light . I just picked up a new taurus 738 tcp fs for 185 dollars . Retail is only $199.

I had a Bobcat .22 and loved it for a up close and personal bug, now the FIL carries it for the same reason. My cousin has the Tomcat and it is a nice gun, just a little bigger, shoots well. I have heard of the slide cracking in some of the older ones but have never seen it. I am looking for a replacement for the Bobcat, kinda feel naked without it.

My CCW is an 84 FS (.380 cheetah). I've had it for over 20+ years...not...a....single...FTF or FTE...EVER!!! IMO, it's perfect for IWB or shoulder holster carry.

I've been looking at a tomcat as well. Nice as a backup.

I have a .32 Tomcat in my pocket or in my car at all times. When at home a Glock 26 and A Sig P228 loaded and ready.

We live in Naples Fl where crime is very low....most boomers are armed down here.
