It comes down to one's preferrence I suppose.
But even if open-carry was the norm I would
prefer to always carry concealed, as that would
give me the edge of surprise if ever I had need to
pull it quickly. Open-carry gives the BG the heads-up
that could go your way or against you if he is prepared.
It is akin in a crude way to a game of poker. No one
knows what I got but me.
