Yes. G20 with mag extensions. My holster holds an extra mag. My counter weight shoulder rig holds three mags when I use that. I always have two mags, with one in the pipe and one in the grip, gives me 38 rounds. With five mags that gives me 92 rounds.

In today's climate, I carry more ammo on me than any five Wal-Mart's. Lol

With the ammo I carry, could ANY SUITUATION overwhelm me? More than likely, no, and that is the point of carrying a gun in the first place.

Yesterday, an armed gang held up a fast food joint in my town, and threatened customers. No one was injured, and the gang got away with the money. What if the gang decided it wanted no whiteness? Would one mag be enough to defend against an attack by a gang?

Going to replace my wife's S&W 39 9mm with a matching 10mm Glock, so we can share mags.

good points have been noted here. and in most cases you shouldnt need more ammo, or even to reload. but then it was also brought up theres always that one chance that you may need it. same reason for carrying a firearm in the first place. you dont intend to use it but know how if you absolutly had to. so with that said it comes down to how you feel or how you make yourself at peace. personally i carry an extra mag on my belt. i have a soft nylon case that looks similar to one for a flashlight or cell phone. its light, easy to access, and hidden. the chances of me needing to use it are very, very slim. but on that chance, that one in a million chance i would need it. i would hate to reach for it and find nothing but air.

If you carry one gun, you have none.
If you carry two guns, you have one.

I carry at least one extra mag. My experience is that the mag is the Achille's heel of the semi-auto. Should one go bad, your handgun is a single shot at best. With the sheer number of aftermarket mags available, I am not the only one who believes that.

Revolvers are dependent on ammo. A factory squib load can render the revolver useless(and it happens). The fix is to carry a second firearm of the same caliber.

I carry the 15+1 in my Glock and one additional 15 rd mag on my belt.
It may sound silly but I don't ever plan on having a flat or blow-out, but I carry a spare tire just in case............

Being prepared is good. I completely respect that. As I said, I'm slightly more prepared when I'm away from home.

The spare tire analogy is great. I just get a kick out of the guys that carry so much extra ammo that it's the equivalent of packing a fully equipped tire and lube shop in the trunk along with the spare tire... Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I no longer start my day expecting to go to a firefight. My gun is a defensive weapon. It is to get myself and my son to safety. No more, no less. That being said, I believe I may go ahead and start packing extras.

Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
