Taurus seems to be a hit/miss - the forum is full of them. I had a Taurus (SW copy) in the 80s - fit n finish were lower end and accuracy was "ok."

I hear they have improved a lot since my time. Yet, here on FTF - it's either a Love/Hate relationship.

I hope every gun owner gets his money's worth. I am also very interested in Taurus's DA revolver - 22 LR w 22 Mag cylinder. I am leary of the negative but try to keep an open mind.

I heard many bad things about Taurus lately. The LGS even stopped selling them, saying that they were experiencing over 40% return for repair issues. The only thing that wasn't having problems was the Beretta 92 Taurus knock off version. (yea I know it isn't really knock off since they bought all the plans and factory, but if a company can't design their own thing, it's just proof to me they can't do it on their own without issues)
