My newest addition to my open carry club is a Bersa Thunder Ultra Compact Pro. I come across this holster by accedent nad it's been in a box for a while because it didn't fit anything I had real well. It fits the Bersa just fine though. Istill like my 1911's more for most carry days but it's cool to be able to switch things up now and then.

Bookmarked the site. I will be looking them over in depth. I know a guy that makes holsters but it's really time consuming as he does them all by hand. He's working on a shoulder rig for my Super Redhawk now.

Thanks for the tip on the site. They look to do some very nice work

Cursory google search revealed: http://www.sig-sauer-holsters.com/sig-sauer-p238-holster.html at least the first 4 have retention. Didn't read much past that. If these guys offer it chances are other people do too. The minimum I'd recommend for open carry is a level 2 retention holster. And that's just if you are going to be in the woods by yourself. For self defense you really need a level III.

I know it's nylon, but it has served me well to date.

Only difference is now I only carry with the 17 round mag w/ mag cover from Beretta. Spare mag is carried in the holster as well. I figure that gives me 35 chances?

I want to get a nice Kydex one someday, haven't found one that is quite perfect for the PX4 sub-compact and perfect for me yet...
