Victor, the 15% hit stat is an average, sad to say. My FIL is retired LE and tells the horrific stories of officers only going to the gun range once or twice a year to qualify. I feel that this is a large part of the low stats. A local officer that I shoot with every chance I get, shoots 3-4 times a week, he has access to a private range just a couple of miles away and feels and sees the same thing. With my life or my loved ones lives on the line practice is a must and not a burden. As for the trade, that is up to you, I would keep the 442 and buy the LC9 and a good pocket holster. The 442 would be a nice back up.
