Does anyone know of any hip holsters (belt, owb ) for the lcp?? One with no straps or buttons retaining the gun.. but still has good retention....

(For my back up gun )

I just picked this up off Ebay this morning for my wife's new Taurus TCP. Is this what you're looking for? If not, my basic ebay search was for Taurus TCP, and it brought up all the accessories, including additional 6 round magazines for it. I got one of those too, for $23 delivered.

You wear your back up gun in a OWB holster
Agree on Ebay search ---

Educate me, please. How is a backup gun supposed to be carried? Please be patient with my questions.

What hoss means is, if this is your backup, one would assume your primary weapon is already on your waist, somewhere. A backup in this case may go on your ankle, for instance, which is a totally different holster style.

However, if I interpret you correctly, you may mean that this is a backup weapon you may want to carry instead off your primary. In that case, a hip holster is in order.

A good one for my LCP is the Remora holster. I wear beltless shorts here in Florida due to the hot weather. So a good holster that will fit and not move even if you were to jump up and down led me to Remora.

I primarily carry a glock 26 (concealed) iwb on my right side.. I also carry my lcp on my left side. With certain clothing, I can wear the lcp owb on my left hip and still concealed since its such a small gun.. as for now its iwb. But hoping to find a decent holster that's owb for what I explained above plus to wear just the lcp around the house on my hip... its just my preferred way of carry.. hopefully I didn't ramble too much and made somewhat sense

Try Alabama Holster Company http://www.alabamaholster.com/

I've used one of their kydex pocket holsters with my LCP for
3 years with no compalints.

They list OWB and IWB for the LCP, with and without laser. Nice
people to deal with--if you want something special they will
do it.
