It's almost 6:00am, an I keep my xd9sc sitting in a blackhawk holster on my nightstand right next to my bed about a foot away.



Otherwise if I'm not at work, it will be on my hip, 4:00 position in a white hat holster iwb

Glock 27 Gen 4 with a 9+1 mag, plus one in the tube, carried in a DeSantis IWB holster. I also carry two G-22 magazines, as I have yet to read of or hear about an AAR where a shooter - be it Mil, LEO or civilian - said that they had too much ammunition on 'em in a gunfight. I also go with a Prepper mentality of Two is One, One is None mindset. The Knife is an assisted opening Gerber that I had issued to me during a Deployment about six years before I Retired from the USAF, same w/the Surefire flashlight.

I generally have that on my hip everywhere I go, so long as it's legal to be there w/a firearm. I even have it on my hip around the house until I go to bed or unless I am the shower.
