True, some of the pocket sized guns are short on rounds, but my XDm 9mm 3.8 Compact can go 13+1 with the short magazine. And, with my fanny pack, I can carry with the long mag for 19+1. 20 rounds without a reload, vs 2 reloads w/ speed loaders and still only 15-18 rounds. In one reload I can have another 19 rounds!

But revolvers do have at least one big redeeming feature. They probably won't jam if you have to use it at contact range.

For my money, I'll take the extra rounds and find a way to pull back a couple inches before firing.
