That edge is supposed to be sharp. Take it from a guy that rolled it over on one of my pistols, voiding the warranty & creating a repair that cost more than the pistol is worth. I didn't even use a dremel to do it either. Just plain didn't know what I was doing!

I have been told that it is one reason for using FMJ ammo for break-in because they tend to smooth out burrs in the feed ramp. The ramp doesn't need a high polished shine to it.
