pizza hut driver demoted and pay slashed for defending himself
 

This college student defended himself with a fiberglass tent pole. Pizza hut says he violated their weapons policy. I say good for him beating five thug wannabes.

Time to move on! He was looking for a job when he found that one! Darned if i would want to work for a place like that!!! JMHO!!

I hate Pizza Hut's pizza anyway, but I definitely won't eat there now. If that kid had been robbed and lost all his tip money and the pizzas, they wouldn't have reimbursed him, would have taken the cost of the pizzas out of his paycheck and fired him for incompetence when the people expecting the pizza called to complain their dinner was late.

Screw Pizza Hut. Eating their pizza is more like eating a soggy circle of lumpy, chewy grease than eating a pizza. Never again.

I've not had anything from pizza hut in years...yuck...so they don't get my money anyway. Screw Pizza Hut.

Pizza hut has played this game for years. If someone has the time to hone their Google-fu, it was about ten years ago a pizza hut driver was repeatedly mugged. So he got his carry licence and they wouldnt let him carry while delivering for them. The only time I've eaten there since is when my kid got a free pizza from there because of her grades.

Add Pizza Hut to Auto Zone as places I do not want to work part time after I retire. Well done to the young man.


I don't understand some of these places. My wife was an Asst. Manager at a Ross Dress for Less. That chain refused to prosecute shoplifters. Plus they had a no weapons policy, and her store was right next to the ghetto.

It is cheaper for the store to claim it on their insurance than it is for them to prosecute the offender. Most stores have this policy, depending on where they are located.

So, anyone can walk into a Ross store and shoplift and get away with it?
