I fully understand the OC desire but I tend to over think almost everything. IMHO If bad comes to where I am and I'm OC, I would be one of the first targets. Heck I may become a target by some thugs just because they see whats on my hip and wan't to have it (it's worth more than the old ladies purse and they know up front they need to come at me hard to get what I have. Yes situantional awareness comes into play but when I'm out enjoying my community I like to relax. CC offers that to me, I'm just the average person in the mall or where ever, not considered a threat or drawing additional attention just another face in the croud. Then if Bad comes I have a surprise for them.

Why ruine the surprise

It's not about tactics. It's about their right to carry that way if they want to.
Maybe the day started out a little chilly now it's warm and you just want to take off your jacket and you're still 5 blocks from your vehicle or home. But wait you can't be comfortable because some idiots made a law saying you can't.

Is it a right or isn't it?

Its legal to OC in MA if you have a LTC, but there are lots of stories of people getting arrested for "disturbing the peace". All the brainwashed liberal hippies freak out and get scared with the sight of a gun to the point of calling 911.

How constitutional is that?! I can't express my 2nd amendment right as a United States citizen in fear of being arrested - but the inbred rednecks of the Westboro Baptist Church can protest a soldiers funeral resulting in mobs of angry (sometimes violent) people, and the bastards get a damn police escort. ****in ass-backwards corrupt politicians. Why don't we just eliminate everything this country was founded instead of skewing it and become 1917 Soviet Russia. At least everyone would be treated the same.

RANT OVER!!!

Actually, some of us that ARE from a long line of inbred rednecks would LOVE to be able to express directly to the Westboro pukes how we feel about them.

I always open carry when I'm on either my property, my aunts property, or my cousins property. Regardless of what people think I always have a firearm on me at all times, except when I'm asleep which in that case there's always one next to my bed.

OC is perfectly legal in GA with a license (Georgia Weapons Carry License) that also provides for carry of other weapons besides guns.

Only time I conceal is when it is cold enough for a heavy jacket. Otherwise, I'm OC. Haven't had the first problem.
