Default Officer Down

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/03/22/officer-shot-killed-after-calling-for-backup-in-central-florida/?intcmp=latestnews

even for a police officer 911 is still minutes away when seconds count...

hopefully the scum that did this are caught and punished with a death sentence. but it drives home the fact that even for police officers a call for help is unlikely to be there in time.

Wi didn't read tat far down into the article because news reports usually devolve into bs past the first paragraph. My mistake

I'll say it's weird. We are supposed to believe these folks

killed a cop, to save themselves from prosecution, then

killed themselves, what? Also to save themselves from

prosecution?

I'm willing to bet there is more to this than we've been told.

I'm pretty sure there is, too. I wonder just what those folks were up to or maybe even possibly high on. Who knows?

I just read a story within the last 3 weeks from an NRA email that exemplifies the opposite.

A man was fired from car dealership I think in Richmond. The man got pi$$ed and drove his vehicle thru the front door and started whirling his gun.

A cop was there having his vehicle serviced. He was shot and the criminal was shot (maybe killed), 911 was called and an officer arrived at the scene. This all took place in 58 seconds. Not bad.

Hold your breath while excited for 58 seconds.

That IS a long time.

Dan, I agree but many are proud of response in less than 5 minutes...that's a long long time.
