This subject is one I find to be very important, since I and a few million other people spend over a third of our lives at work. Some work facilities have limited access, armed guards, locked doors, etc. But even so, the BG's still find a way to get in. Sometimes it is even an employee, with total access to the facility, that becomes the terrorist (Navy yard?). So if I had my druthers, anybody with a CCW/CCP/CWP should be allowed to carry anywhere and everywhere, including at the workplace. South Carolina had such a law brought up in the state legislature, but it didn't get far enough to get a vote. So for now, my piece has to stay in the car.

I don't really care about being fired either... The job isn't that great.

Where I live, (MN) it is a misdemeanor to carry without a permit, HOWEVER, it is legal to carry w/out permit at work, your home or in between

So that about covers it for me. I avoid the post office!

You might be surprised at how many people are CC at a hospital. I know of at least 5, and thats just on my floor.

I hope that one day, our economy/job market will recover to the point that people can use this as a reason to refuse a job offer/opening and to take a job that allows CCW carry on-site.

M16 you say, as in select fire has auto? nice

Love that you have the old 870 listed. Those aren't exciting, pretty or sexy, but they do what they're built for real well

It's real hard for me to relate to not being able to do as I please at the office. All I can say is thanks to the people who go into their job and make it happen every single day.

Thank you for thanking... Honestly, I don't know anything else BUT to work at something till it's done.... Unlike our Government. Bet you they didn't furlough their private armed security though.

Yes as in select fire. We never get to use it on the range, but it's there.
