A 380 isn't the greatest stopper in the world, but it is certainly better than having nothing. The LCP and Kel Tec P3AT are fantastic pocket guns. They are light weight, easy to conceal, and have 6+1 capacity. I pocket a P3AT most every day, but I also keep "big un's" in my car.

On a trip to a 'Major Outdoor Retailer' with a pocket full of gift cards from B-Days and the like, I ended up looking at pocket guns. It was the same $ for a KT P3AT and the LCP. I bought the LCP and I like it. Sights are nothing to write home about, but it shoots everything I feed it.

The place I bought mine said they received 5 on Wednesday and I bought the last on Friday afternoon for a higher price than most owners paid ($300).

$300.00 isn't too awful bad. It seems they normally go for $250.00 (in my area, that is).

I still don't know why they won't incorporate a last round hold open on these pistols like they do for the Kel-Tec .32 pistol.

I don't know either... KT says it's bad to dry-fire the P3AT, and yet you always dry-fire it when the ammo runs out... unless you happen to count shots. Did I shoot SIX or SEVEN?

That's the same problem they had with the SR9. You'd think they would have QC'd the LCP too My local gun shop has had three go back to Ruger for breakage. Apparantly there's a block or protrusion on the breechface end of the barrel(around 11 or 12 o'clock position) that is breaking off.

I shot one last week. I didn't have any problems with it. The wife and I both liked it. My only complaints are that the sites are really small and the trigger pull is looooooong.

The LCP recall doesn't speak good for Ruger's QA at all.

That's disappointing........

It really doesn't, which sucks because they just spent a lot or time and energy revamping the Mini line. I think they may have just rushed the LCP to market though. You see a lot of that these days.
