Congrats, Brah! Not trying to drive the bus here or anything, there are a lot of varables in the arena of CC. I've always been of the opinion that you should find something you can shoot well and then figure out how to hide it as opposed to carrying something that suits your wardrobe. The LCR is a great choice for hot-weather carry.
I normally carry a 4" XD-9 in a softside IWB (Uncle Mike's or Blackhawk) holster right in the groinal region with a spare mag, and it's not only concealed all the time, but as a landscaper, I can do the sorts of physical activities that most humans never do and not feel like I'm encumbered by a fairly sizeable handgun. I don't buy shirts, I buy "cover garments". I do have a substantially smaller BUG which is very accurate, but in shorts and a tee-shirt it's a beeyotch to carry 3 spare mags.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that when the SHTF, make sure that what you take into your hand is going to make the bad guy die, because that's what it's all about.
