Default New to the crew!

It came today!

The State of Florida saw fit to allow me to carry. WOOHOO!!

I've learned two things in the past four hours....

One; I waited waaay too long to do this.

Two; I need another carry weapon. I'm too small to carry this comfortably in public.

That is all.

What are you trying to carry that is uncomfortable? A good holster and belt can make a world of difference.

By comfortably....I mean psychological, not physical.

My M&P 40c, in a Supertuck. I think it's plenty comfy, but the grip tends to catch my shirts when I move around.

I've been wearing it around the house for the past couple months since the holster came in, to get familiar and find a good position.

Really......I just want to get some more guns. Definately a small revolver for the Fl. summer coming up.

I just have to get used to it. I'll find out tomorrow when I go to work.

Look into the Ruger LCR. Some foks here have them and they swear by them. A S&W Model 60 series will do the job as well.

Thanks. The LCR is on top of the list so far. I've also been instructed by a VERY credible (to me) friend, to check out Kahr too. Obviously not revolvers, but, all options are on the table.

I was in a couple of gun shops yesterday and looked at a compact Sig in 40 S&W and a Kahr CW40. The Kahr is ok but the Sig really looked and felt good. I'm 5' 10" and around 165 pounds so it's not easy for me to keep weapons from printing, IWB holsters would stick out like a sore thumb. I'd love to go to a more compact weapon than my ccw Stoeger Cougar but can't see my pocket book allowing this for some time to come.
