Speaking of open carry and the "fastest gun in the west" syndrome, I saw a comic strip in the paper showing two guys carrying tubas into a saloon, and one of them says to the other:

"So, they tell me you fancy yourself a tuba player."
And all the other saloon patrons start slinking away...

Maybe I didn't make myself clear from the outset.

I remember a watching a tv report many years back, interested whether it was actually the case it was made law in a particular state /town that you must carry.

I wanted to know the town, and how successful that policy was.

I made a throw away comment about people's behaviour towards eachother may change if all oc .

I was trying to open up a debate on whether it had Merritt.
I like the idea in theory if it works
But the reality is often different, thats why I was hoping someone could she'd some light on it. Not my idea by the way

Many people posting on here that there should be more ccw, no mandatory back ground checks no restrictions etc etc.

So what if all people took up ccw in their state would that be any different?(not the crims )

Bearing in mind that retards can own guns now and probably ccw, unless there is a specific intelligence or common sense test you have to go through to get a permit .

Or is it that ccw holders like to feel special or elitist that they carry and others don't?

Sound to me that you might actually like restrictions!

That would be Kennesaw,GA and it wasn't that you had to carry it was that you had to own a firearm
