That Pro-Tech Seat Buddy looks promising. On long trips, this would be much more comfortable than carrying on my person. However, for around the town and short trips (2 hours, etc.), pioneer461's comment makes sense, so I'm going to try the 5.11 Tactical shirt holster with a modified dress shirt (2 shirt buttons sewn on outside, velcro holding shirt closed). I ordered a couple of the shirt holsters today, at $45 each on most sites. Holster Shirt

I saw this at a display recently at a local gun show. I haven't done business with them, or used their product, but this may be worth looking into.

Iused an Uncle Mikes because it's reversible and the retention strap is adjustable for any similarly sized gun. As long as you have a panel near your knee it works great.
