Default Mississippi Derringer

Anyone know anything about the Mississippi derringer? I have one. It's a 38 special. States made in Germany. Stamped #5897. Let me know

Here is a 2013 sale for a MS derringer. It went for $165 in fair condition after being listed for almost a year. Unless your gun is in much better shape it's worth about $165.

What about dependability? Have you heard anything? Misfires etc?

They were made of zinc, with steel parts. Not a particularly high quality gun.

Pretty simple unit, if it works on some test shots your probably pretty likely to get it to fire when you need it. Dependable to about 6', much further and your better off running away.

Hard to believe they sell used for that much because they were only about $60 new.
