Anyone have any info on Michigan's gun laws?

I'm looking at relocating to southern Michigan and just curious.

Michigan Gun Owners as posted above but here's the correct url http://www.migunowners.org/forum/index.php
also Michigan Open Carry http://www.miopencarry.org/

There are some crazy quirks in the state law. But, while the community and LEO aren't quite on board, it's generally a pretty easy state to carry in. Get your CPL as soon as you can, that makes a huge diff.

Where in southern MI?

Why would you want to locate to a state DEEP in the red with one of the worst economies in the nation!?!?

Just curious as its my home state.

I have a possible job opportunity there. I did the phone interview and it lasted about an hour and ended with him asking about my availability to fly out for a face to face interview. I have some pretty damn good luck with face to face interviews so I'm hopeful.
It is the largest facility with in it's industry in the world, would give a stupid salary, and a company vehicle. And I'd be about an hour from Ft. Wayne so we'll get to go shooting

OpenCarry.org - A Right Unexercised is a Right Lost!

Shows many different handgun law maps, such as open carry, resaurant carry, airport, etc.
