My 'little' gun is the Sp101, but do not overlook the Taurus 85 series. My wife has been carrying one for years, the Ultra-Lite. I have sold A LOT of them and only had one with a problem and it was replaced in less than 10 days, They are a good value and have a lifetime warranty.

This is my Performance Center Talo Edition 642. Buttery smooth trigger and very manageable in .38+p. I really like this gun and it virtually disappears in my front pocket with a cheappie Blackhawk holster.
I have the same 642 Talo Edition and really like it. As you said, it disappears in a pocket, even with the slightly longer grip of the Talo model.
