I'm thinking about getting a remington 870 for my truck. I would want to leave it in there pretty much all the time. I have a CCW, so there are no legal issues with it, but was wondering more about what it would do to the gun to leave it in there? I would keep it oiled, but is it worth getting a marine model, or the basic finish? Anyone else do this?
