Default LCR holster?

I'm sure this has been covered but it didn't come up in my search. I just ordered a couple of LCR's and wondered what others use for a holster. One is going to be my wife's and probably in her purse. One will be mine and in a pocket or IWB. Just want to get an idea where to start. Thanks!

You might wanna take a look at these. They seem interesting, and if you go to his Facebook page he has sample pictures.

Otherwise, I use an Old Faithful holster. They're excellent.

For my LCR I use a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster when I pocket carry or a DeSantis Intruder IWB holster other times. Both can be found at reasonable prices on eBay.

I've really liked my remora. It stays put really well for IWB, and doubles as a pocket holster. It has turned into my "go to" in the summer. Its what my wife uses to put in her purse too. I will prob get one for my next carry gun as well.

Okay this is kind of old but u thought I would share in case someone else was looking. I bought a size zero Uncle Mikes holster. It was cheap...and with it you get what you pay for. Not really pleaded with it. I only purchased it because it was cheap though. Wanted to get an idea how I want to carry it.

There is nothing wrong with the uncle mikes pocket holster. I pocket carry almost every day. I usually get over 5 years of wear from a holster. The holster you have is far to small for an LCR. I use a size 03 holster for an LCP size pistol. You can't blame the brand when you buy the wrong holster. There is a reason the size 0 holster was so cheap. It is designed for NAA revolver sized gun. Many people don't use a holster for a NAA revolver because a pocket clip is easy to install and use. I carry revolvers in a holster to keep lint and other debris out of the gun.

A pocket holster should be roomy. The holster should cover the trigger guard and have enough room to stick a spare magazine in the holster. It's not that I carry a spare magazine in my holster, that is just a rule of thumb to make sure the holster is large enough.

Sorry to hear you are unhappy with what you have spent money.

The LCR is a very popular CC weapon. There are many holsters to select from and certainly other low budget brands as well. I too protect my wallet

I assume you got this - IWB size 0:

Can you further describe what you don't like about what you have? Do you want to change your carry location or style?

Did your wife start carrying also?

Haven't been on here in a while. I'm not knocking the uncle mike holster. Just saying it's not working for me. It does fit my gun just fine. Just doesn't secure it well. I did cut the clip off and it function well as a pocket holster. That is how I'm currently carrying it. Just sharing my experience. I'm a newbie.
