Didn't go with the compact version?

I did, forgot the "C". Came with 2 mags, 10 and 17, the 17 has a grip extension which makes it fit and shoot like a full size. Nice feature.

Well I went to buy the lc9, but the lgs showed me the sear reset, or the lack there of. As soon as I saw I have to completely release the trigger for a follow up shot I was out. I bought the XDs 9.

I love my Nano. It's got a better trigger than a Glock IMO. It's dead accurate and it feels like one solid piece of metal the fit is so tight. It's also super reliable and IMO compared to a shield has less felt recoil. I would give it some serious consideration.

The SR9c is a wise choice, the only reason I carry the LC9 over the SR9c, is the LC's ease of concealability. The SR9c is a great shooter.

Ok, I think I got a little screwed. I won't know until tomorrow and I don't really know how pissed I should be.

Got a call from my LGS who told me the XDs that I bought was technically sold to someone else yesterday by another employee who screwed up the paperwork. He has been really good to me in the past and really apologetic about this. In an effort to make up for it he is looking frantically for an XDs or he will sell me a Kahr CW9 for cost and throw in some extra's if I don't want to wait for an XDs.

Until this thread, I had never given Kahr a thought because of the price, but now it looks like I can get one for under $400 with all the stuff I was going to have to pay extra for with the XDs.

What is the consensus on the quality of Kahr CW9? I am kind of liking this turn of events and am really considering it.
