I vote no. I have laserlytes on my glocks and they just get in the way. If youre in a hiding position they just give you away

1) Get an idea

2) Start e-mailing people that make grips and see if they are game.

I got mine through Larry Davidson atDavidsonKnives. Larry is the best and always finds time to run my couple of orders with a small batch where he can.

I even bought a set of horn grips from one guy, had them mailed to Larry and he did my engraving on them.

I'll post up a couple of pictures tonight. I meant to do it last night for tacticalfun as he asked about them too.

Someone just remind me if I forget.

I usually try to order a couple of sets at a time. I think if I buy the grip material from Larry they were like $55-$65 a set.

One of a kind, so I think it's worth it. Then again my 1911's aren't just safe queens either.

I will definetly look into it, I would like to have something that stands apart both in function and style

Here are those pics I promised. (4) off vertical slits with the Greek writing down the center. I really like them. I have sold two guns with them on and the new owners like them as well.

Thank you.

The exposed G-10, due to the CNC cuts, allow for liquids to be leaked from your hands.

During the Baby Oil test the grips did soak up some of the oil, but the gun did not slip out of my hand. The edges of the CNC cuts almost seem to force your hand to cause both a push/pull retention/resistance with the meat of the hand.

While they are my design, they out performed what I thought they would do.
