Default Laser?

Is there a better laser than another or do you not prefer them at all

As with most anything man made there is good, better & "best"-
Personaly I don't care for them- They certainly serve a purpose & meet a "need" tho--

I had a laser on my g17 but took it off and sold it. Even with it on I was still looking thru the sights. I think a laser is an acquired taste.

some people like them and some don't. i personally don't care for them. i like the sights better and have been shooting pistols for long time before lasers ever came to be!

They are great for training. It will definitely show a bad trigger pull. I dont like being battery dependent in a life or death situation and it will point straight back to you. I took mine off. Anyone looking for Crimson Trace LG111? Fits a Ruger SP101.

From a vision in multiple light conditions stand point, a green laser is going to far out do a red laser. Green is more visible in a wider awry of light conditions and is actually a "stronger" color for the human eye.

From a tactics standpoint I hate the idea of a laser on anything I own.

Lasers point two ways. They tell any OTHER individual exactly where you are and they tell anyone you light up the exact angle you have on them.

I would save your money and invest in some quality night sights personally.

YMMV.

I got a Crimson Trace for a Sig P229 that is sitting in the safe too and for the same reasons.
