KHolster Holster
I just received my KHolster holster yesterday the cresent for my Glock 26.... Anyone else have this holster and what kind of combat cut did you give it, maybe some pics?
Thanks in advance |
I wear my Kholsters for atleast two weeks as much as I can before "combat" cutting them. That way the leather breaks in a little, making it a little easier to cut and the leather also starts to mold around the gun and my body by that point, helping me know where to cut it. I like to cut from one side and cut under the little notch that the magazine release will leave in the leather, because if I don't, sometimes the mag release gets pushed during every day wear (not good!). I then go up, making sure there's leather between the slide and my body, finish cutting to the other side and then smooth out my cuts with a dremel sanding tool, so the leather isn't cutting into my skin. There are tons of videos on youtube about it, if you're a visual learner like me. I hope this helps!

I just got mine yesterday too :) For my G23. I haven't decided if I'm gonna cut it yet. I kinda like the leather between me and the grip. On the other hand it is more difficult to draw. I will play around for a bit and see. I removed one of the clips to adjust the cant and that sucker was difficult to get back on, so be aware if you decide to do that.

I performed the combat cut on mine and it is not really that comfortable, any recommendations on the proper position on the body anyone has had good success with, for example 3oclock, 4oclock?
Thanks in andvance |

Combat cut is you do a manual cut outlining the weapon and exposing the mag release so the mag release is not accidentally depressed by the leather of the holster
