We are winning this whole thing as of now. It had backfired on the government because manufacturers are now stating that they will no longer sell to the feds if they don't appeal their terrible laws. Keep strong. Join and hang together or die alone.

We may have a translation issue here; in order to construe your post as anything other than some trollish insult, one would have to take the blue "you" as a specific pronoun referring to Mr. McCool while realizing that any one north of a moron (in the aspect of intelligence not latitude) would know that the orange "you" used is a COLLECTIVE/plural pronoun referring to the voters of this country as a whole and their actions.

Btw trapper, reread what i stated, the nutjob had already failed the check and was denied a firearm. Thats why he stole them. And he never actually used the ar15, it was still in the trunk of the car. So asking a question that was already answered just proves how foolish and ignorant you are.

Where I live...the simple answer to your question is yes. I have received a background check for every new firearm I have purchased.
